Donation Policy

At ONETEEN, we are deeply grateful for the generosity of our donors. Every contribution helps us empower teens through leadership development, mentorship, confidence-building, and life-changing educational experiences. This Donation Policy explains how donations are accepted, used, and managed.

Our Mission

ONETEEN is a nonprofit organization committed to helping young people discover their potential, build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and create a positive impact in their communities.

Your donations directly support programs, scholarships, educational resources, volunteer training, and the ongoing operations necessary to fulfill our mission.

How Donations Are Used

Donations may be used to support:

• Teen leadership and personal development programs

• Scholarships for participants with financial need

• Program materials and educational resources

• Volunteer training and support

• Community outreach initiatives

• Event expenses

• Website and technology improvements

• Administrative and operational expenses

• Future program development

Unless specifically designated by the donor, all donations will be used where they are needed most to support ONETEEN's mission.

Types of Donations

We gratefully accept:

• One-time donations

• Monthly recurring donations

• Sponsorships

• Scholarship contributions

• Corporate donations

• Matching gifts

• Memorial and tribute gifts

• In-kind donations (subject to approval)

Restricted Donations

If a donor designates a contribution for a specific program or purpose, ONETEEN will make every reasonable effort to honor that designation.

If the designated program is completed, canceled, or no longer requires funding, ONETEEN reserves the right to redirect the donation to a similar charitable purpose that best supports our mission.

Donation Receipts

A donation receipt will be provided for eligible contributions.

Receipts may be delivered electronically or by mail and will include:

• Donation date

• Donation amount

• Organization name

• Transaction confirmation (when applicable)

Donors are responsible for consulting their tax advisor regarding the deductibility of their contribution.

Donation Security

ONETEEN is committed to protecting donor information.

Online donations are processed through secure third-party payment providers using industry-standard encryption.

ONETEEN does not store complete credit card or banking information on its servers.

Donor Privacy

We respect the privacy of every donor.

ONETEEN does not sell, rent, trade, or share donor information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Donor information is used only to:

• Process donations

• Issue receipts

• Communicate about programs and events

• Provide updates regarding our mission

• Comply with legal and financial obligations

Recurring Donations

Donors who choose recurring giving may update, pause, or cancel future donations at any time by contacting ONETEEN or managing their payment through the designated payment platform.

Changes to recurring donations do not apply retroactively to donations that have already been processed.

Refund Policy

Donations are made voluntarily and are generally non-refundable.

However, ONETEEN will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis for situations including:

• Duplicate donations

• Incorrect donation amounts

• Unauthorized transactions

• Technical or processing errors

Refund requests should be submitted within 30 days of the donation date and include the donor's name, donation date, amount, and reason for the request.

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.

Donor Recognition

Unless a donor requests anonymity, ONETEEN may recognize donors in annual reports, newsletters, event materials, or on our website.

Donors may request to remain anonymous at any time.

Transparency and Accountability

ONETEEN is committed to responsible stewardship of every donation.

We strive to use donated funds efficiently, ethically, and in a manner consistent with our mission and applicable laws.

Changes to This Policy

ONETEEN may update this Donation Policy from time to time.

Any changes become effective immediately upon publication on our website.
